BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

What Shall I Do Before Receiving My Microblading Procedure?

Prior to your Microblading procedure think about the look that you wish to achieve, we have hundreds of photos of our work on our social media accounts. As experts in the field of colour analysis and makeovers, we ensure that the correct colours and styles are chosen for you, however you are part of the decision-making process.

It is unlikely, but some skins may need more than one top up. Be prepared for the colour intensity to be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. Some colours can look warmer in colour than they will once healed.

MICROBLADING AFTER CARE

 - Proper care following your treatment is necessary to achieve the best results. If during the healing process you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

You may experience the following symptoms for a few days post treatment

- Minor swelling

- Mild tenderness

 - Itchiness of the eyebrow area

 - Dry flakey skin.

These symptoms are a normal part of the healing process.

Daily care to follow for 7 days after your treatment.

- 2 Hours after the procedure clean your brows gently with cooled boiled water and a cotton pad, blot dry and apply a thin layer of Bepanthen cream.

- 4 Hours after the treatment repeat this process,

- Apply healing balm (Bepanthen) 3 x a day using a cotton bud or clean finger.

- Do not rub when applying creams, gently pat the cream on.

- You must try and avoid getting your new brows wet when washing your hair.

- You must keep your brows dry for 7 days.

 - Keep hair away from your eyebrows to avoid cross contamination.

- Itching is normal, do not pick, peel or rub your eyebrows. Allow the colour to flake away by itself

- It is normal for hair Stroke colour to fade unevenly (a touch up is required after a minimum of 4 weeks) fading may occur more obviously on oily skin types.

- Avoid heavy sweating or blood rushing to the skin surface for 7 days (Cardio exercise) Healed results will be different on everyone. It cannot be guaranteed how the final result will look. Some people will have crisp hair strokes after the heeling process is complete and some people may have slightly less defined lines.

Things to avoid.

- Application of makeup on or around eyebrow area, active ingredient creams, chlorine water, excessive sweating, facials for 10 days post treatment.

 - No Botox or sun beds 2 weeks prior to or after treatment

 - Avoid extreme sun exposure for 2 weeks post treatment.

 - For longevity for the brows it is always good to wear big sunglass or a hat to avoid fading

Microblading Top ups

How skin takes pigment varies from person to person. After the top up appointment the colour will fade less and any slight patches will be filled in.

The colour is going to fade over time.

Touch ups are required every 12-18 months to keep the brows looking fresh.

* We will send you away with beautiful brows but in the unlikely event you feel you need small tweaks after your top up appointment this will be charged at additional cost*
